Security

How we protect the service

• Data in transit is encrypted (HTTPS/TLS).
• Letters are processed and not stored by OweRight. There is no database of letters to breach.
• Server access keys are held as secrets on the server and never placed in the app.
• Our AI requests are made with storage turned off at the provider where the provider offers it.
• Fair-use limits and a daily spending cap protect the service from abuse.
• Access to the server is limited to the owner.

What we cannot promise

No system is perfectly secure. A photo of a letter on your own phone is only as safe as your phone. We suggest using a passcode and deleting scans from your camera roll when you no longer need them.
